Advanced Hedge trading strategy tests
This EA follows a hedging strategy. It involves strategically opening new orders in an attempt to reduce exposure to currency risk. Instead of using indicators for its entries, the robot uses pure mathematical logic. It also has a loss-recovery system, but the developer hasn’t explained how it works.
For this backtest, the EA conducted 2729 trades from July 2020 to January 2022. It used an every tick model and an initial deposit of $430 to generate a total profit of $2009.81. The win rate for the backtest was quite high at 86.04% and the profit factor was also very impressive at 1.67. Looking at the high relative drawdown of 53.78%, we can tell that the EA was following a risky strategy.
