U.S. stock markets are set to open in just two hours, with Lucid Group Inc. (LCID) showing a 10.6% increase in pre-market trading, and Gen Digital Inc. (GEN) up 4.8%.
PDC Energy Inc. (PDCE), MKS Instruments Inc. (MKSI), and Ecolab Inc. (ECL) are all showing gains of at least 3%. However, Corebridge Financial Inc. (CRBG) and Morningstar Inc. (MORN) are posting declines, falling 3.0% and 2.8% respectively.
Meanwhile, S&P 500 futures are down by 0.13%, with Dow Jones Industrial Average futures falling by 0.05%. The Cboe Volatility Index futures see a rise of 1.33%.
As for commodities, Brent crude oil futures are up by 0.53%, and gold futures have risen by 0.65%. However, Bitcoin has slipped by 0.18% to $30,306.
The 10-Year Treasury yield has fallen to 3.689%.
In the previous regular trading session, the S&P 500 and the Dow plunged by 0.77% and 0.65% respectively. In Asia overnight, stocks declined, with Japan’s NIKKEI 225 Index down by 0.25% and China’s Shanghai Composite Index plummeting by 1.48%.
In afternoon trading, European stocks are down with the STOXX Europe 600 Index falling 0.11%, and the FTSE 100 Index dropping 0.10% from the previous day’s close.
