Absolute FX was first introduced to the Forex trading community in April 2021. As per the vendor, this expert advisor has a 99.5% win rate based on backtests conducted between 2015 and 2020. However, he is quick to note that past performance does not guarantee future results. The system trades only on the GBPUSD and EURUSD currency pairs and can run on either the MT4 or MT5 trading terminal.
Absolute FX was invented by Aleksei Ostroborodov. He resides in Russia and is the founder of a company known as Smart Forex Lab. The company, which already has 434 subscribers on its Telegram channel, provides professional Forex solutions. The products it has produced so far include Good Morning, Euphoria, True Range Pro, Candelabrum, MT4 To Telegram, and of course, Absolute FX.

Absolute FX trading strategy tests
The vendor says the EA uses a “the no-loss” scalping strategy that is based on reversal patterns. No martingale or grid trading is applied because Absolute is a pure price action trading system. The dev further explains that maximum win rates are attained when trades follow the trend, and SMA and Bolinger are usually used in ascertaining the direction the trend is taking.
These backtest results indicate that the robot’s strategies were tested on historical data between 2015 and 2020. The EA traded on the M30 chart using the GBPUSD pair. By the end of the testing period, 351 trades had been implemented. The orders attained excellent win rates for both short (100%) and long (99.41%) positions. Consequently, the profit generated was $21548.89. There was a maximum drawdown of 22.54%, a sign that the strategies used didn’t carry many risks.
What about Absolute FX live trading results
We have the live trading results of a real USD account hosted by Weltrade. The account was deployed 11 months ago, February 25, 2021, and deposited at $1000. Since then, the EA has been making 0.08% daily profits and 2.39% monthly profits. As a consequence, a profit amount of $276.78 has been realized. There’s a drawdown of 10.65%, which means that the robot works with low risks to the capital.
The robot holds orders for about 20h 27m, and from the 93 trades completed to date, it is evident that the system is not a frequent trader. Fortunately, all the short and long positions have been successful as both have attained 100% win rates. However, the profit factor is not indicated. From 631 pips made, the average win is 6.79 pips, while the average loss is 0 pips.
The profits made in 2021 were low as none of the months reported a profit of 4% and above. November had the highest profitability rate — 3.83%.
The system mainly placed sell orders. None of the orders were unsuccessful.
User reviews
Absolute only has two reviews on mql5. Both clients appear to be happy with the EA. One of them confesses that it only engages in positive trades and makes decent profits. The other one purchased the product back in April 2021, and at the time, he had hoped it would live up to expectations. He promised to update his review once trading results were available. Unfortunately, he hasn’t given any updates since then.
